Solskjaer has now lost more Premier League games than hes won as furious Man Utd fans call for Norwegian to be SACKED

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have called for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked after another embarrassing defeat.

The Red Devils crashed to a 2-0 home defeat to Burnley last night and the result meant the Norwegian has now lost more Premier League games than he was won as permanent boss.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Premier League win record as permanent Man Utd manager

And after Burnley recorded their first win at Old Trafford since 1962, stats revealed the Lancashire side have now won more games since Solskjaer took over than Man Utd have.

United have won 11 Prem games under the former Cardiff and Molde boss but have lost 12 and drawn nine from his 32 games in charge.

And in the last decade the lowest points the Red Devils have had after 24 games of a season is 40 – which has happened twice.

The first under David Moyes in the 2013/14 season and the second under Louis van Gaal in the 2015/16 campaign.

But this season they are on just 34 at the same stage.

Solskjaer’s record also falls short when compared with Jose Mourinho’s – who the Norwegian replaced.

The Special One was sacked in December 2018 before Solskjaer was drafted in.

And he notched 17 wins, 12 draws and just three defeats from his first 32 games in the Old Trafford hotseat.

That’s a win ratio of 50 per cent compared with Solskjaer’s 34.

Most United fans at Old Trafford last night sang in support of Solskjaer but against Ed Woodward and the Glazers.

But supporters online were not so forgiving of their former striker.

One tweeted: “Good Morning. Its now 7AM, and Im yet to hear that Solskjaer is sacked. This is going to be a bad day.”

Another added: “Solskjaer should be sacked just for managing to lose to these idiots man.”

And Hash weighed in with: “Solskjaer should be sacked tomorrow.

“United’s management is awful but there is no excuse for dropping points like United have this season.”
