Man Utd’s front three – Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood – have been earning much acclaim of late
Solskjaer compared his current front three to United’s class of ’08 – Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez

But with Mason Greenwood also playing a part, Solskjaer thinks his front line resembles more the vintage of Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.

Boss Solskjaer said: “With regards to Yorke, Cole, Sheringham and Solskjaer, I think Martial and Rashford are creating their own little relationship.

“It’s a different type because they’re playing in different positions.

“There’s more rotating, more like the Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez one with Mason in there. We just want them to find their own way of playing.”

United are unbeaten in 19 games going into tomorrow’s FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea.

And the Red Devils have already seen off Chelsea three times this season — twice in the league as well as in the Carabao Cup.

But Solskjaer warned: said: “This game is a one-off, it’s a semi-final, it’s at Wembley, it’s a different feel.

“I don’t think the other games will play too big a part in this — it’s who performs on the day.

“It’s great to have momentum, which we’ve built with the unbeaten run.

“We’ve always believed in this squad and the way we work. We have to keep on growing and improving.”
