Reports suggest that Leicester City's Timothy Castagne is on the brink of an immediate return to the Premier League with Fulham. The full-back was part of the Foxes squad that suffered relegation to the Championship last season.

Fulham is said to be in advanced negotiations to secure the services of Castagne, according to reports from Belgium, his homeland. If the deal goes through, the 27-year-old could make an immediate comeback to the Premier League.
Castagne Prefers Juve, but Fulham Most Concrete Option
Although Castagne is allegedly interested in joining Italian giants Juventus, who are also pursuing him, the move has not yet materialized. Likewise, there were rumors linking him to Arsenal, but Fulham appears to be his most realistic option at the moment.
Castagne's Career Path and Achievements
Castagne began his professional career at Genk before moving to Serie A club Atalanta. He joined Leicester in 2020 and has since made 112 appearances for the Foxes, finding the net five times. In 2021, he was part of the team that triumphed in the FA Cup.
Impending Departure from King Power Stadium
Castagne's contract with Leicester runs until 2025. However, with new manager Enzo Maresca looking to rebuild the team, the full-back could be the next player to leave the King Power Stadium. Previously, the likes of James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, and Youri Tielemans have also departed and returned to the Premier League.

Should the deal go through, Castagne would become Fulham's fourth signing of the summer, joining the likes of Calvin Bassey, Raul Jimenez, and Adama Traore. Fulham started their season with a win at Everton, followed by a home defeat to Brentford and a thrilling 2-2 draw against Arsenal.
