HARRY KANE is expected to be available for Tottenham’s opening Premier League game of the season against Manchester City on Sunday, despite speculation surrounding his future.
Kane, 28, has made it clear his desire to leave Spurs this summer and Man City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed his club’s interest in signing the England captain.
But they have not been able to agree a price for the striker, which has led to no deal being done.
Kane only returned to Tottenham on Saturday and is now quarantining for five days.
But new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo – who is due to hold crunch talks with Kane today – insists he is still in contention to play the game.
He told Sky Sports: “All the players in the squad are available. It is up to us to consider who is the best options.”
When pressed on whether that includes Kane, he added: “All the players in the squad that work here on a daily basis will be options for us. It is up to us to decide.”
Last week Kane addressed reports he had failed to turn up for training by denying any accusations he had acted in an unprofessional manner.
He said: “It’s almost ten years since I made my Spurs debut. For every one of those years, you – the fans – have shown me total support and love.
“That’s why it hurts to read some of the comments that have been made this week, questioning my professionalism.

“While I won’t go into the specifics of the situation, I want to clarify that I would never, and have never, refused to train. I will be returning to the club tomorrow, as planned.
“I wouldn’t do anything to jeopardise the relationship I have with the fans who have given me such unwavering support during my time with the club.
“This has always been the case as it is today.”
Kane, who has scored 221 goals in 336 games for his boyhood club, was originally not expected to be available for Spurs’ opening game of the season.
But it now appears he could be ready to make an appearance against the team who are pursuing his signature.
However, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is said to be asking for £160million for the Three Lions skipper.
And Guardiola is unsure whether a deal is possible given the two clubs’ differing valuations.
When asked about whether Kane will join, he said: “No. It depends if it is possible. If it is we do it, if not we go without a striker.”
Meanwhile, Man City will begin the defence of their Premier League title without star duo Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden.
“Phil will be out for a while, a tough injury, we have to be careful with it,” Guardiola revealed.
“Kevin still is out. I think he will come back a bit sooner than Phil apparently. But both are still out for a while.”
