Unemployed Premier League Legend Eden Hazard Drops Biggest Hint Yet He’s Retiring at 32 on Documentary

Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard has raised speculation that he is considering retirement at the age of 32.

The Belgian midfielder, who left Real Madrid over the summer, is currently without a club and has reportedly turned down several offers, including a lucrative deal from Saudi Arabia.

Hazard is believed to be contemplating retirement as he approaches his 33rd birthday in January.

Hazard Suggests Retirement in New Documentary

A new documentary about the Belgium national team called 'Believe' is set to be released, and in the film, Hazard is seen hinting at the end of his playing career.

He says, "It’s time to enjoy life by drinking a few beers."

Highlights of a Stellar Career

Hazard first gained prominence in France with Lille, where he scored 50 goals in 194 games and led the team to a league and cup double in 2011.

In 2012, he made a £32 million move to Chelsea, where he spent seven seasons, scoring 110 goals in 352 appearances and winning multiple domestic and international trophies.

In 2019, Hazard joined Real Madrid in a transfer worth up to £150 million. However, injuries hampered his time at the club, and he only managed to score seven goals in 76 games.

Despite this, he still won two league titles, a Copa del Rey, and the 2022 Champions League with Real Madrid.

Hazard also represented the Belgium national team, scoring 33 goals in 126 games and playing a crucial role in the team's success alongside players like Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany.

In addition, he announced his retirement from international football after Belgium's group stage exit at the World Cup.

With Hazard's future uncertain, fans and football enthusiasts will eagerly wait to see what the retired Premier League legend decides to do next.

Whether he hangs up his boots for good or considers a different role within the football world, Hazard's talent and contributions will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come.
