Watch Andy Robertson tell ref ‘you didn’t see ‘f***ing anything’ in foul-mouthed rant as Liverpool draw with Burnley

ANDY ROBERTSON delivered a foul-mouthed outburst at referee David Coote after Liverpool’s shock draw against Burnley.

The Anfield left-back was furious at the end of the 1-1 clash – which ended Jurgen Klopp’s side’s chance of becoming the first in Premier League history to win all their home games.

Robertson was furious with ref Coote at full-time of the draw against Burnley

Clarets keeper Nick Pope was in brilliant form as Robertson’s first-half goal was cancelled out by Jay Rodriguez with 20 minutes to go.

Robertson was livid at full-time and cameras caught his X-rated tirade in full.

The 26-year-old left-back is heard saying: “You didn’t see f***ing anything.

“You didn’t see anything all game apart from f***ing booking me in the last minute.

“F*** me. What’s the point in having you in the middle? What’s the point in having you in the middle?

“F*** me, honestly.”

Klopp is also seen remonstrating with the officials but it’s unclear what he is saying.

Liverpool boss Klopp also went in for some words with the officials at the end of the game

Robertson had given Liverpool the lead

Rio Ferdinand recently suggested Liverpool had taken their foot off the gas after winning their first Premier League title.

The Manchester United legend admitted he did the same.

He revealed Wayne Rooney once told him he stunk of booze during the game after celebrating one of his six top flight wins.

Ferdinand said it’s entirely reasonable to expect Liverpool’s standards to drop a little, even if, as clear by Robertson, their intensity had not.

He told BT Sport: “There’s no doubt in my mind that there is a one per cent or two per cent fall-off when you win a league.

Unless you have got a Champions League that is coming up after, which they haven’t, you normally just sit there and chill. So you celebrate.

“You haven’t got to go anywhere, they can be at home on a Zoom call, you don’t know these days, things are different.

“I am telling you there is a one per cent or two per cent at least that has come off, even in training. It’s not the same intensity, it’s just the way it is.

“Yes, they are fighting to break records, but that’s not the same as fighting for another title or another cup somewhere else.

“I remember running past Wayne Rooney in a game once and he said, ‘wow, you stink of alcohol’ and I said ‘yeah, I have been out all week’.”
