Watch furious Cristiano Ronaldo tell referee he needs glasses during Man Utd’s Champions League KO to Atletico Madrid

FURIOUS Cristiano Ronaldo barked at the referee that he needs GLASSES during Manchester United’s Champions League defeat last night.

The Red Devils crashed out of Europe after a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford to Atletico Madrid, giving the Spaniards a 2-1 aggregate win.

Ronaldo was not happy with Anthony Elanga appearing to be fouled in the build-up to Atletico’s goal

Ronaldo, 37, had a shocking night in front of Atletico’s goal, failing to muster one single shot.

The Portugal star is now set for a first trophyless campaign in 12 years.

And Ronnie made his feelings perfectly clear as he stormed down the Old Trafford tunnel at full time.

Incredible footage has now emerged of the moment Ronaldo mocked Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic after Atletico took the lead minutes before half-time.

Renan Lodi headed home for 1-0 just moments after Anthony Elanga felt he was fouled down the other end of the pitch.

There also appeared to be a block on Fred by Marcos Llorente as Atletico countered before their goal.

But Vincic and his VAR team dismissed United’s concerns with no hesitation.

That led to Ronaldo making a gesture at the official, telling him he should buy a pair of glasses to see things properly.

And Ronnie was supported after the game by boss Ralf Rangnick, who slammed Vincic’s decision-making.

He said: “That goal, in a transitional moment, I believe it was a foul on Anthony Elanga, the referee and linesman didn’t see it that way.

“We shouldn’t have been 1-0 down at half-time, we were the better team in the first-half. It’s important to score first and even more so against a team like Atletico.

“In the second-half, I don’t know if the game was played for more than two minutes without being interrupted by someone lying on the floor.

“There were some curious refereeing decisions, I wouldn’t necessarily say decisive, maybe the one they scored.

“He (the referee) made it pretty easy for Atletico to do their time-wasting antics and it didn’t make it any easier for us.

“That’s how they play for the last 10 years, they always play like that. I was not surprised.”
