The FA Cup is Leicester’s second major honour under their beloved ownership following the Premier League win of 2016.

But for many of the current Foxes squad, including James Maddison, this is their first taste of silverware

He was clearly thrilled, judging by his self-recorded video, and he could be seen celebrating alongside Marc Albrighton.

Ordinarily, such a triumph would be celebrated long into the night but Leicester face Chelsea again on Tuesday.

The Stamford Bridge clash is crucial for their Champions League ambitions, with Chelsea breathing down thier necks in fourth place, two points behind the FA Cup winners.

Meanwhile, in Leicester, masses of Foxes fans gathered outside the King Power.

Supporters were visibly overjoyed at the cup success and celebrated by waving flags and lighting flares.

Hundreds of fans celebrated outside their home ground

They covered every corner outside the stadium, even climbing above the ticket office.

The scenes are reminiscent of the bus parade through the city centre in 2016 when the East Midlands club was crowned Premier League champions.

Brendan Rodgers and the squad should be warmly received when fans are allowed back into the King Power for the final day clash against Tottenham.
