ROY KEANE reckons Arsenal ‘have enough to stay up’ despite their worst start to a season in 39 YEARS.

The Gunners lost 2-1 at home to Wolves on Sunday to slip to 14th in the Premier League.

Keane has joked struggling Arsenal ‘have enough to stay up’ despite their horror start to 2020-21

In fact, if Arsenal LOSE to Tottenham in their next Premier League game, they would slip 11 points behind their fiercest rivals.

But Keane has joked he believes Arsenal have enough quality to maintain their top-flight status.

When asked if that North London derby feels like a huge game for the Gunners, Keane gravely said: “They all seem big at the moment, don’t they?

“Maybe that might be the best game for them to have next… it’s a derby and it’s away, so less pressure than at home.”

Cracking a smile, Keane continued; “But Arsenal… I still think they have enough to stay up.

“I think they’ll be strong enough to stay in the division.”

Fellow pundit Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was left in stitches, while host David Jones was relieved to hear it was just a joke.

It rounded off what was an all-round hilarious Sunday in the Sky Sports studios.

Roy Keane was in a cheeky mood on Sky Sports on Sunday

First of all, Hasselbaink arrived LATE for work – with Keane joking he should have been fined two weeks’ wages, as any professional player would.

After finally turning up, Super Sunday host Jones said: “Delighted to welcome Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

“What do you think, a weeks’ wages? What do you think Roy?”

A smiling Keane disagreed, replying: “Two weeks.”

Jones then added: “The lockdown traffic is a nightmare isn’t it Jim?”

A laughing Hasselbaink then said: “Fair enough guys, fair enough.”

Later in the day, Keane then took a swipe at his former Manchester United team-mate Gary Neville.

While discussing early crosses in to strikers, Hasselbaink disagreed with an old comment from Neville.

The ex-Chelsea star said: “I know Gary is really highly-rated here, but…”

Before Hasselbaink could finish, Jones burst into a fit of laughter and Keane interrupted with a beaming grin, saying: “Is he? By who?”
