And Xavi’s men emphatically sealed their place in the next round with a 4-2 win at Napoli, giving them a 5-3 victory on aggregate.

Aubameyang failed to score in the first leg at the Nou Camp.

But he made sure he bagged his first European goal for Barca tonight in style.

With the Catalans 3-1 up in the 59th minute, Wolves loanee Adama Traore jinxed down the right wing before firing a low cross along Napoli’s penalty area.

Frenkie de Jong then showed off his quality with a genius dummy, completely fooling Napoli’s defence.

Aubameyang then pounced at the far corner of the box before perfectly firing home, celebrating his effort with a trademark mid-air somersault.

It means the ace now has four goals in five games since his shock free transfer from Arsenal on deadline day.

And footy fans reacted with delight, with one tweeting: “So glad to see him back to his best.”

Another said: “Arsenal are going to regret letting him go.”

One noted: “Arsenal should sign this guy.”

Another added: “Good to see him enjoying his football again.”

Barcelona took an early lead at Napoli through Jordi Alba, who scored with just eight minutes on the clock.

De Jong then joined in the action five minutes later before Lorenzo Insigne pulled one back for the hosts with a 23rd minute penalty.

Gerard Pique then restored Barcelona’s two-goal parity with a 45th minute strike.

And Aubameyang put the game beyond doubt in the 59th minute before Matteo Politano netted an 87th minute consolation.
