Wilfried Zaha heads to Beckenham Goals for a kickabout as Prem suspended over coronavirus pandemic

CRYSTAL PALACE star Wilfried Zaha was supposed to be lacing up his boots at the Vitality Stadium this weekend to face Bournemouth with the Eagles.

But with the coronavirus pandemic having lead to the suspension of the Premier League – the 27-year-old seems to have still gotten get his football fix.

The 27-year-old was supposedly spotted at Beckenham Goals today

And Palace’s No11 has apparently been spotted at Beckenham Goals playing FIVE-A-SIDE this weekend.

In a video posted to Twitter, the Ivorian international can be seen jogging down the left touchline.

And the poster claimed to have “seen Zaha” at the local five-aside pitches.

Despite the venue not quite possessing the glamour of a Premier League stadium, Zaha still had a wide grin on his face.

The English top flight was suspended on Thursday after the news broke that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had contracted the disease.

It is currently off until April 4 – however it is set to be quite a lot longer than that before we see Premier League action again.

League chiefs are set to meet for a second time on Thursday to try and decide on a plan… and how to resolve the inevitable issues that will appear if the season cannot be finished.

Handily for Zaha, Palace are floating serenely in 11th, with no real possibility of getting relegated.

But with Roy Hodgson’s side only four points behind seventh-placed Sheffield United – the Eagles may be robbed of a Europa League push if the season is shut down.

Left-back Patrick van Aanholt was daring to dream after last Saturday’s 1-0 win over Watford.

The Dutch international tweeted: “Europe anyone?”
