Wolves 2 Brighton 1: Dunk goes from hero to zero with goal then red card as Traore and Gibbs-White complete turnaround

LEWIS DUNK went from hero to zero as Brighton missed out on the chance to guarantee their Premier League survival.

The Seagulls skipper thumped in a header from a corner after just 13 minutes to give the visitors the lead at Molineux.

Adama Traore scored the Wolves equaliser before Morgan Gibbs-White completed the turnaround

But after coming close to adding a second in the first half, the second started in nightmare fashion for the centre-back.

With Fabio Silva racing clear, he cynically dragged the striker down and was duly given his marching orders by Jon Moss.

The ten men’s resistance was finally broken 14 minutes from time as substitute Adama Traore played a neat one-two with Silva and fired in.

And as the clock hit 90, Morgan Gibbs-White smashed in a dramatic winner minutes after missing a sitter.

Neal Maupay was sent off for foul and abusive language after the full-time whistle to compound more misery on a torrid afternoon for Graham Potter’s side.
