Formula 1 stars get into the festive spirit with Secret Santa

Formula 1 drivers celebrated the holiday season by participating in a Secret Santa gift exchange with their fellow racers. Each driver was randomly assigned another driver to buy a gift for, resulting in some hilarious and creative presents.

Max Verstappen surprises Valtteri Bottas with a unique gift

When Max Verstappen received Valtteri Bottas as his Secret Santa recipient, he decided to get creative. Bottas, who recently raised money with a calendar featuring pictures of his backside, received an art book entitled "A simply lovely look at butts in art." The book featured Bottas' naked rear edited onto classic art works, and Verstappen wrote "have a cracking Christmas" on the inside cover. Bottas found the gift to be "really creative" and correctly guessed that it was from Verstappen.

Zhou Guanyu receives a duplicate gift

Alfa Romeo driver Zhou Guanyu received a copy of his teammate's calendar from Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. However, it turned out that Zhou already had a copy of the calendar.

Other memorable gifts

Other notable gifts exchanged among the F1 stars included Fernando Alonso receiving a captain's hat from his Aston Martin teammate Lance Stroll, and Yuki Tsunoda gifting Esteban Ocon a Chinese cookbook and apron. Nico Hulkenberg poked fun at Pierre Gasly's nickname by buying him a tripod, and Alex Albon received six personalized golf balls, which he called the "best gift" he's ever received.

Lewis Hamilton absent from Secret Santa festivities

Notably missing from the Secret Santa video was Mercedes superstar Lewis Hamilton. It is unclear why the seven-time world champion did not participate in the gift exchange.

Overall, the F1 drivers had a fun and festive time exchanging gifts with their fellow racers. It was a lighthearted way for the drivers to celebrate the holiday season and show camaraderie off the track.
