Lance Stroll Shoves His Physio in Fit of Rage After Disastrous Aston Martin Qualifying

Stroll's Terrible Performance Continues

Lance Stroll, the Canadian driver for Aston Martin, had another dreadful performance in qualifying for the Qatar F1 Grand Prix. The billionaire's son, who has been struggling this season, was eliminated at the first hurdle, finishing in P17.

Physio Shoved in Angry Outburst

After qualifying, Stroll exhibited a fit of rage and appeared to push his trainer, Henry Howe, against a wall at the rear of the team's garage. Stroll's frustration was evident as he struggled with yet another disappointment.

Blunt Seven-Word Interview

In a post-qualifying interview, Stroll gave blunt and short answers, uttering a total of seven words. When asked about his emotions, Stroll simply responded, "Yeah s***." He followed it up with an unhelpful reply to a question about what was not clicking for him behind the wheel, saying, "I don't know." Lastly, when asked about his mindset going forward, he abruptly stated, "Keep driving," before storming off.

Season of Disappointment

This season has been a total disappointment for Stroll, who has only managed to score 47 points for the team out of their total of 221. In contrast, his teammate Fernando Alonso has been on the podium seven times.

Continued Poor Performances

Stroll's P17 qualifying result at the Losail Circuit in Doha is just one in a string of poor pre-race performances. In fact, he has failed to place his car above P10 in each of the last seven races, further raising questions about his future in F1.

Contrasting Results with Teammate

While Stroll struggled, his teammate Alonso secured a P4 starting position after lap time deletions for McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Norris and Piastri dropped to P10 and P6 on the grid, respectively, for Sunday's race.

The front row of the grid belongs to Max Verstappen, who can win the drivers' championship in tomorrow's sprint race, and Mercedes star George Russell. Lewis Hamilton will share the second row with his old nemesis Alonso after finishing in third place.
