LEWIS HAMILTON is ready for the British Grand Prix this weekend, despite a difficult week.
On the F1 driver’s Instagram he posted two pictures from his previous wins at the race alongside the caption: “Homecoming. See you soon Silverstone.”

Hamilton has a fantastic record at the British Grand Prix winning the last three but the build-up to his home race has been marred by comments made by Nelson Piquet.
The Brazilian former F1 driver used a racist term when talking about Hamilton in an interview.
Fans have come to the seven-time world champion’s support, fans online said: “We are behind you all the way.”
Another stated: “We love you so much, Lewis. Always standing by your side.”

Support continued ahead of Sunday’s race: “There is a lot of love for you in every corner of the Earth. It’s hammer time. Bring it home Lew.”
Meanwhile, much attention is still focused on Piquet and the response from the likes of Red Bul.
There here have been calls for the 69-year-old to be banned from the paddock and F1 icon Damon Hill demanded punishment.
Piquet has apologised and insisted he did not intend for the remarks to be racist.
On Twitter, Hamilton said in response: “It’s more than language.
“These are archaic mindsets need to change and have no place in our sport.
“Time has come for action.”
It’s been a season full of challenges for Hamilton who sits sixth in the standings.
He has not won a race this campaign and made the podium just twice.
This is down to problems with his car and the ‘bouncing’ his Mercedes does when going along the straights that have caused Hamilton severe back pain.
