MICK SCHUMACHER has been told to stop crashing – because he’s costing his team too much money.

Boss Guenther Steiner has warned that he will have stiff words with the German F1 ace if he has another big shunt this weekend in Azerbaijan.

Schumacher, 23, has had TWO big accidents costing over £1million each.

Those came in qualifying in Saudi Arabia and during the race in Monaco.

When quizzed if he would be speaking to his crash-prone racer if he had another shunt in Baku, Steiner said: “I would say so.

“We will have a serious conversation because at some stage we’ll run out of parts.

“We cannot keep up making them.

“And that much money you throw out you just can physically not do it.

“So we need to make sure that here nothing happens.”

Schumacher left fans concerned after his car split in half following a crash during the Monte Carlo Grand Prix just over a week ago.

The German lost control of his car during the 27th lap leading to the horror scenes, with his Haas spinning, clipping the barriers and being left in two pieces are smashing into the wall.

Schumacher walked away from the incident without any serious injuries, but the race was still red flagged after attempts to clear the debris with a yellow flag were unsuccessful.

The son of F1 legend Michael was also involved in a monstrous crash in Saudi Arabia in March.

The Haas driver lost control and smashed into a wall at 170mph during Q2 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

Schumacher’s car was left in a mangled heap as he careered into the wall at the side of the track, causing the session to be immediately red-flagged.
