Merc introduced the special edition look back in 2020 as a sign of the team’s commitment to fighting racism and discrimination.

Kevin Ticehurst wrote: “A truly beautiful machine. Loving the new livery. Now onwards to a 9th successive constructors’ championship and an 8th world championship for Lewis, or possibly a first world title for George!!!”

Kelvin Martin wrote: “It’s a stunner! Well done to the entire team that put in hours and hours of effort to produce this magnificent looking car.”

Seven-time champ Lewis Hamilton ended months of retirement speculation by confirming he would return to the grid this year.

Fans had feared he was planning to hang up his race suit after the shocking season finale that saw him robbed of a record eighth drivers’ crown last term.

But the 37-year-old revealed he is ‘excited’ to drive his new motor after the team’s ‘incredible hard work’ during the off-season.
