Susie Wolff has strongly denied allegations that she shared confidential information with her husband, Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff, calling the claims "misogynistic".

Allegations Raised by Rival Team Bosses

A report in Business F1 magazine claimed that rival team bosses had expressed concerns about Susie Wolff sharing confidential information from her employer, Formula One Management (FOM).

Wolff is employed by FOM as the director of the sports all-female series, F1 Academy, and reports directly to F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali.

FIA Investigation

The FIA's compliance unit has launched an investigation into the conduct of Susie and Toto Wolff in relation to these allegations.

A statement from the FIA confirmed that they are looking into the matter, responding to media speculation about the passing of confidential information to an F1 team principal from a member of FOM personnel.

Strong Denials from Susie Wolff and Mercedes F1

Susie Wolff took to social media to express her indignation at the allegations, stating that she was insulted by the claims and that they were rooted in "intimidatory and misogynistic behavior" rather than her abilities.

Mercedes F1 also strongly denied the allegations, stating that they had not received any communication from the FIA compliance department regarding the investigation and that the allegations impinged on the integrity and compliance of their team principal.

Confidence in Robust Processes and Procedures

F1 also expressed confidence in their processes and procedures, stating that they have robust measures in place to ensure the segregation of information and responsibilities in the event of any potential conflict of interest.

They cautioned against making serious allegations without substance and reiterated their belief that no member of their team had made any unauthorized disclosure to a team principal.
