FORMULA ONE’S Sergio Perez has issued a public apology to his wife after being filmed dancing with mystery women in Monte Carlo.

Videos emerged of Perez celebrating his victory at the Monaco Grand Prix on what appeared to be a yacht.

The Mexican racer, 32 , got up close and personal with a brunette before dancing with his arms around a blonde’s waist.

The Red Bull driver took “responsibility” for his actions but insisted that he and his wife Carola Martinez are “more united than ever”.

Perez reportedly posted on Instagram: “I have seen the videos that have been circulating about me and I take responsibility for it.

“It was a bad party that I didn’t know how to control at the height of the person that I am, but it was just that, a very bad party.

Perez snatched his first victory of the season at the Monaco GP last month.

The 32-year-old was later rewarded with a brand new two-year contract by Red Bull.

The Mexican star is third in the F1 drivers’ standings behind defending champion and team-mate Max Verstappen as well as Ferrari‘s Charles Leclerc.

Perez said: “For me, this has been an incredible week, winning the Monaco Grand Prix is a dream for any driver and then to follow that with announcing I will continue with the team until 2024 just makes me extremely happy.

“I am so proud to be a member of this team and I feel completely at home here now.

“We are working very well together and my relationship with Max, on and off the track, is definitely helping drive us forward even more.

“We have built tremendous momentum as a team and this season is showing that, I am excited to see where that can take us all in the future.”
