The star made it to 12 under par after an impressive first three rounds.

And Cameron Young is his nearest challenger at seven under.

Harman stormed ahead by shooting 65 in the second round and then held his nerve on Saturday despite a surge from Masters Champion John Rahm.

However, despite what promised to be a tension-filled finish in the rainy north west, fans were left smiling by a shot of Harman earlier.

Journalist Kyle Porter kicked it off by sharing the screengrab of him carrying an umbrella that had an array of gloves and a towel hanging from the inside.

He captioned it with: “Brian Harman is running a pro shop under his umbrella.”

And golf supporters absolutely loved it as it was shared numerous times on social media.

  8. Keep your head down. When you are teeing off, keep your eyes on the ground. You should not be looking at the ball, or where it lands. Your eyes should be focused on the hole instead.
  9. Good form is essential for a good swing. Different people might interpret the same thing as proper form. But, generally speaking, you want to avoid swinging through your target. Instead, strike the ball towards the center of the club.
  10. Concentrate on the process. Although there are many factors that influence a successful golf swing you should be able to focus on the process. You can relax your grip if your hands are slipping. You can also focus on your posture if balance is a problem.
