Tiger Woods ‘looks huge’ ahead of return to 2022 Genesis Invitational as host, a year after cheating death in car crash

GOLF legend Tiger Woods has been packing on the muscle ahead of the Genesis Invitational event next week.

The only problem is he’s not playing in the tournament, but will instead host a field that includes the likes of Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson.

Woods has not played on the PGA tour since his crash but did play alongside his son at the PNC Championship in December

Fifteen-time major winner Woods also hosted the same event last year.

But just days later on February 23, 2021, he was involved in a horror crash in Los Angeles that saw him sustain serious leg injuries.

It’s kept him out of action ever since, and the tournament this year from February 17-20 will mark almost a year to the day since his life threatening accident.

He did play at the PNC Championship with his son Charlie in December, but is yet to make a return to the PGA tour.

Fans though are speculating that Woods might not be far off a comeback after a picture of him looking bulkier than ever was posted online.

Woods was snapped on Instagram with a fan at PopStroke, a golf course combined with a restaurant designed by Woods himself.

And people were all left saying the same thing after seeing his muscles practically popping out of his shirt.

One reacted: “Tiger is looking big. He’s gotta be hitting the weights hard.

“I can’t help but think he’s preparing for yet another come back in which he supersedes all of our wildest expectations.”

Another impressed user wrote: “His arms though!?”

With a third adding that they hoped Woods would make an emotional return at the Masters in April.

They said: “Tiger still looking jacked and rocking a Wednesday practice round blue. Augusta here we come.”

And another clearly had the same idea as they teased: “Tiger looks Augusta-ready.”
