Scott Stallings thought his Masters invitation got lost in the post

The ‘other’ Scott Stallings sent over photos of the invitation as proof

Three-time PGA Tour winner Stallings, 37, resorted to checking his mailbox “five times-a-day” during his anxious wait for the precious package.

But he was put out his misery when he received a social media message from his namesake including pictures of his invite to April’s Georgia Major.

It read: “I’m 100 per cent sure this is NOT for me. I play but wow, nowhere near your level.

The ‘other’ Stallings also sent over two photos of the invitation as proof that he was not messing around, adding: “I’m really not kidding I promise.”

Fans were almost as shocked as Stallings and called on the golfer to invite the amateur to The Masters, which takes place in April.

One wrote: “Ya have to get the guy tickets don’t ya. Maybe have him caddie Wednesday?”

Another added: “You gotta invite THE Scott Stallings to the event man.

How do I improve my golf score?

These simple tips will make your golf game more enjoyable.

  1. You should practice more than you play. If you want to get better at something, practice more. To play too often is a sign that you are developing bad habits.
  2. Play when you feel good. There will be times when you don’t feel like going out on the course. Don’t force your self to do things you don’t like. Instead, look for ways to make golf more enjoyable.
  3. Take breaks. Golfers like to take breaks during rounds to stretch, walk around, have lunch or just relax. Breaks allow your body to relax, and help you stay focused during the round.
  4. Drink water! It’s easy not to keep track of how many drinks were consumed while you are out on the course. Make sure you drink enough water so that you aren’t dehydrated. Drinking plenty of water before, during, and after your game will help keep you feeling refreshed and ready to hit those greens.
  5. Be healthy. Eating healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean protein, whole grains, and low fat dairy products will give you energy and allow you to perform well on the course.
  6. Keep hydrated. The best way to stay hydrated is to drink lots of water. Aim to drink at least eight glasses per day. This includes plain water as well as water made from coffee or other beverages.
  7. Warm up properly. Begin by warming up with a walk or jog for five minutes before you hit the first shot of a round. Then, you should be able to move freely and feel limber.
  8. Keep your head down. When you tee off, it’s important to keep your eyes straight ahead. You should not be looking at the ball, or where it lands. Instead, focus your attention on the hole.
  9. You should always wear proper form when you’re dancing. Different people may interpret proper form in different ways. You should avoid hitting your target with your swing. Instead, you should aim to strike the ball in the center of the club face.
  10. You should be focused on the process. Although there are many factors that influence a successful golf swing you should be able to focus on the process. Try relaxing your grip if you struggle to hold your hands still. If you have trouble maintaining balance, focus on your posture.

How To

What are the best golf clubs that I can carry in my bag for playing?

When choosing golf clubs, the most important thing to consider is your level of play. A higher end model is best for you if you intend to play golf regularly. However, if you only go out occasionally then you might want to look into buying a set of mid range clubs. It really comes down to how much money and how often your plan to play.

A good set of woods is essential for anyone who hits a lot. The reason why they’re so popular is because they provide great distance and accuracy. These types are typically made out stainless steel or Titanium, which makes them very durable. You should ensure that the head of any wood club you purchase is the correct size. A smaller head will give you less forgiveness while a larger head will help you hit longer shots.

A good putter is also a must. This will be something you use a lot during practice sessions or tournaments. This will allow you to choose from two main options. There are two main options: a blade-style putter or a mallet-style putter. Blade-style putters are simpler to learn. They allow you feel the ball move towards your face, before you strike it. Mallet style putters require more skill and are less forgiving.

For irons you’ll want to pick up a few different styles. There are many iron sets on the market today. Some prefer to purchase a complete iron set, while others prefer to get their fairway woods/hybrids. Before you make your final choice, try out several brands.

As far as wedges go, you’ll want a wedge that fits your swing. An example: If you’re left handed, an offset wedge will work best. But if it’s right handed, a straight through wedge would be better.

When selecting a driver, you’ll first want to determine whether you’re a pull hitter or a fade hitter. Drivers with a heavier weight are more popular among pull hitters. They have more power and torque behind their ball. They prefer lighter drivers. They’re more versatile and are able to produce more ball spin.

It is always good to have a variety clubs in your bag. You never know when your equipment may be needed. Having a wide selection of clubs will ensure that you can cover all of your needs.
