DERBY favourite High Definition has been ruled OUT of his comeback run this Saturday.
Aidan O’Brien’s colt heads the market for the Epsom showpiece next month and had been expected to run at Lingfield.
But he will miss that trial after his trainer revealed he was not happy with the horse.
As a result, High Definition, who is unbeaten in two starts, drifted out from the clear 3-1 favourite to 9-2 with Betfair.
Stablemate Bolshoi Ballet is now as short as 5-1 in some books.
O’Brien revealed: “High Definition won’t be going to Lingfield on Saturday – his bloods just weren’t 100 per cent this evening.
“I’m not sure where he might run. We’ll just have to wait and see how things go over the coming days really.
“We’ll have to play it by ear and see how he is when things settle down.”
High Definition is still in the Derrinstown Derby Trial on Sunday at Leopardstown and the Dante next week at York.
The unbeaten three-year-old is also still in the Irish 2000 Guineas at the end of the month.
It’s unlikely O’Brien would run the horse at Epsom without a preparation and he will be anxious to get the horse some further experience.
