Altior and Frodon set for thrilling jumps finale at Sandown but Tiger Roll to miss fixture and stay in Ireland

HOUSEHOLD names Altior, Frodon and Put The Kettle On are the star attractions at Sandown’s Bet365 Jumps Finale.

But team Tiger Roll have decided against running him in Britain again after his Aintree flop.

Altior has not been seen on a racecourse since his shock defeat at Kempton

Altior will clash with Champion Chase winner Put The Kettle On in a cracking Celebration Chase.

Nicky Henderson’s star missed the Festival after a late setback and previously was beaten as the even money favourite on his only outing this season.

Henderson would love nothing more than to get his four-time Festival winner back in the winners’ enclosure on the big stage.

He faces six rivals, including Sceau Royal, Greaneteen and Nuts Well. Rachael Blackmore will partner Ornua.

The bookies make Put The Kettle On the 6-4 favourite with Aidan Coleman again in the saddle.

Alior is a general 9-4 chance with Sceau Royal in at 3-1.

Our star columnist Bryony Frost is also back in action after her recent injury scare.

Frost took a tumble in the Grand National and has only just returned to the saddle.

She will partner King George winner Frodon in the Oaksey Chase with Mister Fisher their main challenger.

Tiger Roll had been expected to lineup in the race but he will now skip Sandown for a likely outing at Punchestown Festival next week.
