With Enable hunting a historic third win in the race following an agonising defeat last season, her connections would have been pleased by the weekend rain.
The ground at Longchamp is reportedly now very soft after 20mm of rain in the past 24 hours.
Aside from antepost favourite Love, Aidan O’Brien kept in Japan, Sovereign and Mogul and could yet supplement Derby winner Serpentine.
Aidan’s son Joseph has five still in contention. Buckhurst, Crossfirehurricane, Thames River, Degraves and New York Girl are all possibles.
Hughie Morrison has left in Telecaster, while the home team have big guns Sottsass, Persian King and Raabihah in the mix.
Japanese mare Deirdre will have the whole of Japan cheering her on as she looks set to take her place.
