AIDAN O’BRIEN has supplemented Derby hero Serpentine for Sunday’s Arc at Longchamp.

The Epsom ace is one of sixteen potential runners in the Group 1 showpiece, with the Ballydoyle maestro responsible for five.

Serpentine was a shock 25-1 winner of the Derby back in July

Serpentine has tasted defeat since his Epsom heroics, when he could only manage fourth behind stablemate Mogul in the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris.

And the punters have them closely matched with Betway going 12-1 the pair after Ballydoyle stumped up the 72,000 euros to add Serpentine to the field.

After Telecaster was ruled out by trainer Hughie Morrison yesterday and Wonderful Tonight was not supplemented by David Menuisier, the remainder of the potential field remain in contention.

The market has still been strongly in favour of Enable who is as short as 6-4 with Betway.
