Famous jockey Frankie Dettori is known for his impressive starts on the racetrack, but he's struggling to make an impact in the jungle on I'm A Celeb.
From Racetrack to Jungle
Dettori retired from British racing in October and is now continuing his career in sunny California. But before settling into his new digs, he decided to join the I'm A Celeb crew in Australia last week, alongside firebrand politician Nigel Farage and former boxer Tony Bellew.
Odds Take a Tumble
Bookies initially gave Dettori odds of just 5-1 to win I'm A Celeb, but those odds have skyrocketed following his first few days in the jungle. Coral's Lewis Knowles said, "Frankie has struggled to establish himself in the competition so far. He’s now 33-1 to win the show outright, and 5-1 to be the first celebrity eliminated."
Favorites to Win
According to Coral, TV personality Josie Gibson is the favorite to win at odds of 11-10. Sam Thompson comes in at 5-2, and Fred Sirieix at 7-1. Nigel Farage is at 10-1, while Tony Bellew is a 12-1 shot.
Reality TV Experience
This isn't Dettori's first time on reality TV. He competed in Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 after leaving racing powerhouse Godolphin following a failed drugs test. Unfortunately, he only finished seventh among the housemates after being nominated for eviction three times.
