Boozing with rivals, sales and plans for Chaldean, Sandrine and Coltrane

Surviving in Ireland

Spending a few days in Ireland, we got the chance to let loose at the Goffs Sales. We also made some exciting purchases at the Orby Sale and will be inspecting more yearlings at Tattersalls. It's a hectic time of year!

Irish hospitality at its finest

Staying in a cozy hotel in Naas with a pub attached, the Irish certainly know how to take care of us. But things got a bit dicey on the flight home as we raced against Storm Agnes. Luckily, Richard Hannon assured us he could handle any trouble with the plane.

No runners for Arc day

Unfortunately, we won't have any runners to take over to France for Arc day. But we'll still be cheering on Westover for Ralph and Rob Hornby, who have become good mates of mine. They have a great chance at Longchamp.

Success with Juddmonte

We are thrilled with our success for Juddmonte, who has been a fantastic owner for us. Chaldean is gearing up for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes on Champions Day, and we're excited to see what he can do.

Southampton's struggles

While we've had a tough run with Southampton recently, we believe there's still time to turn it around. We have a crucial game against "dirty Leeds" today and are hoping for a positive result.

Weekend of sports

There's plenty to look forward to this weekend, with top-notch racing, football, the Rugby World Cup, the Ryder Cup, and the NFL. It's a shame we can't just spend the weekend on the sofa!

Our best chance for a winner

Although we don't have many runners this afternoon, we have high hopes for Miss Information in the 4.50 race at Newmarket. After a nice win at Ascot, we think she's well-handicapped and ready for the step up to seven furlongs.
