It is one of the most highly anticipated events within the sporting industry – this year’s renewal looks set to be a stonker after the meeting was held behind closed doors last year.

When is Cheltenham Festival?

Cheltenham Festival starts on Tuesday, March 15 and runs until Friday, March 18.

The star-studded extravaganza takes place over four days at Cheltenham racecourse in Gloucestershire.

When is St Patrick’s Day at Cheltenham Festival?

St Patrick’s Day traditionally falls on the Thursday of Cheltenham Festival.

That means it will come on March 17 in 2022 – so get the Guinness ready.

When is Ladies Day at Cheltenham Festival?

Ladies Day returns this year on Wednesday, March 16.

Cheltenham Festival race schedule

There are a total of 28 races over the four days, with seven races on each one.

Cheltenham Festival TV schedule

The action will be shown live on ITV1, but only a certain number of races each day.

The ITV coverage, fronted by Ed Chamberlain and Francesca Cumani, is currently set to show the first five races on each day.

Every race from the festival will be shown live on subscription channel Racing TV, or you can live stream it on a bookies’ website.
