CHELTENHAM punters are already packing out the Guinness Village as the latest day of the Festival kicks off this afternoon.

Festival-goers are getting merry and in the spirit of things, as they celebrate St Patrick’s Day at The Jockey Club.

Fans got into the spirit of things

As usual, everyone is getting dressed up in their smartest gear on what is set to be a considerably drier day than yesterday at the course.

But there is distinctly more green to be spotted in the crowd, with punters celebrating St Paddy himself.

Gallons of booze will be consumed by fans around the club, as they take in what is set to be a fantastic day of action.

The Guinness Village was already packed out by 11am, with revellers eager to enjoy their day out to the max.
