THE Epsom Derby is nearly upon us again – and it promises to be a cracker.

This year’s renewal is worth a cool £1.125million to owners and trainers, so expect the top horses to bring their A-games.

Who are the biggest movers?

Youth Spirit has plummeted from 100s after a brilliant win in the Chester Vase Stakes under Tom Marquand.

But it is John Leeper who has come in for a tidal wave of support.

Ed Dunlop’s charge has won both races this year and has been hammered from 66-1 to 7-1.

When is Epsom Derby?

The Epsom Derby is on Saturday, June 5. The race takes place at 4.30pm.

It forms part of the two-day Cazoo Derby Festival, with the Oaks run the day before, on Friday, June 4.

The action will be shown live on ITV1, with coverage from 1.35pm to 5pm on Derby day, and 1.30pm to 5pm Oaks day.
