Giant 25-METRE bar, room for 100,000 punters and fun for all the family, it’s party time at Qatar Goodwood Festival

WHAT better way to celebrate a winner on the horses than getting the drinks in at a 25-METRE bar?

The Lennox Enclosure at the Qatar Goodwood Festival boasts the longest bar in Sussex at a whopping 82ft – so there’s no excuse for skipping your round.

And, what’s more, it is just one of the many attractions on offer at racing’s first big meet since Covid restrictions were lifted.

Glorious Goodwood returns this year with a host of top equine talent on show, not to mention the most famous jockeys and world-renowned trainers.

Keep your eyes peeled for Frankie Dettori going for a fifth Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup win on Stradivarius.

Or maybe you’re more interested in his daughter Ella in the Magnolia Cup, an all-female race for amateur jockeys.

Goodwood has something for everyone – and best of all it can be enjoyed from the Lennox Enclosure.

There, you can watch top thoroughbreds thunder past to the finish post at 40mph.

Catch the start of the race on the giant screen and see how your bet – which you can place at one of the 30 bookies on offer – does.

With 35 draft beer pumps on offer, plus food stalls catering for all tastes, there is plenty on offer.

But should you fancy something different you can bring your own picnic in too.
