EDDIE O’Leary has put an end to the speculation and confirmed Tiger Roll WILL run in the Grand National.
O’Leary, racing manager to owners Gigginstown, had stated after the release of the National weights that the horse was “really not certain to line up”.
However, following days of speculation, the horse will chase an unprecedented third straight win in the Aintree showpiece – provided his prep runs at Navan and Cheltenham go to plan.
Tiger Roll has been allotted joint top-weight of 11st 10lb alongside Delta Work for the 4m2f marathon in April, having carried 11st 5lb to victory last season.
He is the antepost favourite at 5-1 with Betfair with and is due to make his comeback in the Boyne Hurdle on Sunday afternoon.
