THE family of a late billionaire could be £500,000 better off on Saturday – as stats reveal their huge 66-1 outsider is most likely to win the Grand National.
Deise Aba, a nine-year-old trained by Philip Hobbs and now under the ownership of the loved ones of Trevor Hemmings, is predicted to pass the post first on Saturday.

Boffins at GrandNational.org.uk analysed the traits of all winning horses since the first race in 1839.
They found the key trends shared by winners are that they are nine years old, carrying 10st 7lbs and priced around 20-1.
Punters will know for sure which 40 horses will line up by 10am on Thursday morning.
But of those still in the running, Deise Aba matches the key stats most closely, being the right age and weight.

The only area where he is a real outlier is the price – but at least punters could earn themselves a decent each way payout should he finish in the places.
And it was as recently as 2013 when we last saw a 66-1 winner in Auroras Encore, so it’s not out of the question.
Another string to the bow of Deise Aba is that his late owner has won the National three times.
Hemmings, a property billionaire who died last October aged 86, was victorious with Hedgehunter (2005), Ballabriggs (2011) and Many Clouds (2015).
The latter was the biggest priced winner of the trio at 25-1.
Various other factors can be considered lucky for Grand National winners – trainers called Tom have more wins (11) than any other, with George (eight), Fred (seven) and James (seven) following closely behind.
In 2022’s field, there’s just one horse trained by a Tom, the 100-1 priced Kauto Riko.
When it comes to ownership, 17 previous winning owners have been called John.
That’s just shy of one in ten and includes last year’s winning horse, Minella Times (20/1 this year) – owned by John P McManus, which could be his golden ticket towards making it back-to-back victories.
Although that in itself is a hard task.
The legendary Tiger Roll managed the feat in 2018 and 2019 but won’t run this year owing to a long-standing argument over his weight.
Before him the last horse to go back-to-back was the iconic Red Rum in 1973 and 1974.

“The historical traits of previous horses can be worth considering when having a flutter on the Grand National, it often goes against the bookmaker’s favourites and provides great value prices for successful betting slips.
“So if you’re a fan of Aba, why not ‘take a chance’ on Deise?”
