Hatton’s Grace Hurdle: Runners, odds and all you need to know for season’s strongest race so far

HONEYSUCKLE looks set to return to the track in the Hatton’s Grade Hurdle this Sunday in what may be the best race of the season so far.

The undefeated mare took her accomplishments to another level last season, winning the Hatton’s Grade en route to Grade 1 victories at Leopardstown, Cheltenham and Punchestown.

Honeysuckle jumps the last on her way to Champion Hurdle triumph at Cheltenham

She remains undefeated in 12 starts under rules and is unquestionably the best hurdler in training in either Britain or Ireland.

The seven-year-old has won the last two runnings of the Hatton’s Grace but this year she faces a much tougher group of rivals than in either of her previous wins.

Of the 10 horses entered excluding Honeysuckle, six have at least one Grade 1 win on their resume.

Klassical Dream, Abacadabras and Saldier all bring serious form into that race and present legitimate opposition to the 4-7 favourite.
