HOLLIE DOYLE is hoping history will repeat itself when she rides Army Ethos in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
She won the race 12 months ago with the Archie Watson-trained Bradsell and in the same ownership, Army Ethos is the ride she’s looking forward to the most next week.

Bradsell roared to a nine-length success on debut at York and was a well-fancied 8-1 winner of the Coventry on his next start.
He subsequently was injured when finishing fourth in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes but is yet to quite return to his best this year.
But Doyle is confident that Army Ethos, also trained by Watson and running in the colours of Victorious Racing, can emulate his success.
She told Sky Sports Racing: “I’ve got some nice horses to look forward to at Royal Ascot.
“The one I’m most looking forward to is Army Ethos, he’s been impressing at home and is a nice stamp of a horse.
“He can hopefully be another Bradsell.”
Army Ethos is a general 20-1 shot for the Coventry, which takes place on the opening day of Royal Ascot.
He is a well-bred son of Shalaa who cost 120,000 guineas as a yearling.
He’s a half-brother to plenty of speedy types and as a result, he should really thrive as a two-year-old.
The Watson stable are heading into Royal Ascot in excellent form too and they’re already on the 47-winner mark for the campaign.
The same goes for Doyle, who has thrived since returning from injury and won the Italian Oaks on Shavasana earlier this month, her second international Classic race.
When Watson and Doyle team up, it usually pays to take notice, as Doyle has won on 21 per cent of her rides for Watson.
