Horse racing punters win thousands and thousands after all backing the same crazy 2,267-1 bet

CHRISTMAS came early for these racing punters – who won thousands and thousands after all backing the same 2267-1 bet.

One bettor showed how he netted £5145 from just £2 after the miracle four-fold came in.

One punter was celebrating after seeing this huge windfall from a tiny stake
This giant £10,830 payout was possibly the biggest of the lot

Another punter scooped a colossal £10,830 from a £17 stake from the same four horses.

While another bettor landed £3309 from just £13 thanks to a variety of punts on the same runners.

And a fellow punter to get on in the action won £4500 from just £4.50.

The genius four-fold could have been picked as an accumulator, Lucky 15 or a number of trebles.

Two horses who raced at Haydock and two horses who raced at Ascot made up the punt for a lot of bettors.

While some also included a fifth horse, who ended up placed.

The miracle gamble – which was tipped up by the Racing Post’s legendary tipster Pricewise – got off to a flier when Up For Parol won the 2.05 at Haydock at 5-2.

Some 35 minutes later Enqarde hosed up at the same track to win by ten lengths at 8-1 for trainer Dr Richard Newland.

It was then over to Ascot where Annsam was a convincing winner for Evan Williams and Adam Wedge at a juicy 7-1.

By now the cash out offers would have been tempting but fortunately the punters stuck to their guns.

And they were duly rewarded when Tritonic won the Grade 3 Betfair Exchange Trophy at 8-1 under Adrian Heskin.

Pricewise had also tipped up Garry Clermont, who finished third in the race at 9-1.

An electrical engineer from Bolton was one of those who got in on the big win.

Andrew Broughton, 40, posted a photo of his winning slip and he told the Racing Post the winnings would help pay for Christmas.

He said: “I worked the morning before watching all of the racing.

“It’s my biggest ever win and I know results like that don’t come along too often.

“We just bought a 65-inch TV, which I’ll be able ot pay off straight away, and we’re doing up the living room so it will help to pay for that.

“I’ll be using the new TV to watch all the racing and football.”

Coral spokesman Dave Stevens said: “Christmas came early for Pricewise followers, with his quartet of well-backed winners ensuring the final Saturday before the festive break was one to forget for the layers.”

Good news for all those punters, who resisted the temptation to cash out… unlike this punter who missed out on over £10,000 even though his bet won.
