THE RETURN of horse racing hangs in the balance.
And with major meetings such Royal Ascot on the horizon we look at if they are going ahead in the bookmaker’s eye.
Will racing return before March?
The Betfair Exchange have priced up odds on whether or horse racing return before May 1st.
As expected, sadly the bookies do not expect racing to go ahead before May – with NO being heavily ODDS-ON at 1/5.
Meanwhile YES for racing to return before May is 4/1.
Will Royal Ascot take place?
Royal Ascot is due to go ahead on June 20th, but there are serious doubts as to whether it will go ahead.
And the Betfair Exchange unfortunately expect Ascot to be cancelled too, at 1/4.
Meanwhile it is a bigger price at 10/3 to go ahead.
