MILITARY March – a general 6-1 shot – will miss the Investec Derby.
Trainer Saeed bin Suroor revealed he has suffered a setback in training and will not be confirmed for the race at Epsom next weekend.
It leaves English King as the 5-2 jolly with Andrew Balding’s Kameko a general 4-1 chance.
Godolphin hope to have Military March back towards the end of the season.
bin Suroor said: “Military March has had a setback and unfortunately will have to miss the Derby next week.
“We will give him plenty of time and hopefully he will be back racing later in the season.”
