Jockey Hayley Turner celebrates unbelievable 100-1 bet on Joyce to beat Dubois… after riding her own 14-1 winner

JOCKEY Hayley Turner is celebrating landing an amazing 100-1 bet on Joe Joyce to beat Daniel Dubois.

And incredibly, the huge bet came in after she rode her own 14-1 winner at Wolverhampton on Saturday.

No wonder the 37-year-old labelled herself ‘jammy’ after striking gold in bets with combined odds of a staggering 1500-1!

Turner’s evening got off to a wonderful start when she won the 6.30 at Wolverhampton.

She was onboard 14-1 chance Vitesse Du Son, who saw off 13-8 favourite The Mackem Torpedo by half a length in the seven furlong race.

That was Turner’s 19th winner of the season – but the bigger bet was yet to come.

She backed outsider Joyce to beat Dubois in the tenth round of their heavyweight clash.

Dubois, who was taken to an eye hospital after the bout, was stopped in that round after failing to make the referee’s count.

The rising English heavyweight’s unbeaten record has now gone out the window.

But Turner was celebrating after seeing her pre-fight prediction come true.

Turner posted her winning betting slip online
The jockey had earlier won a race on a horse at odds of 14-1

She posted a photo of her bet slip on Instagram and captioned it: “Jammy.”

The 100-1 winner – which she put £1on – landed her a tasty £100 profit.

If a punter had done the same boxing bet in a double with Turner winning the 6.30 at Wolverhampton they would have netted over £1500 from just £1.

Turner’s big win came after golfer Lee Westwood was reduced to tears when his 66-1 horse Yorkhill won at Newcastle.
