JOHN DANCE’S horses will be allowed to run but under a different name as part of a deal struck between the BHA and Financial Conduct Authority.
Dance’s business WealthTek was shut down last month following the discovery of alleged ‘serious regulatory and operational issues’.

A 48-year-old man was arrested in connection with these concerns.
Dance, a hugely popular owner who regularly features on TV coverage and is a DJ in his spare time, has sold his share of King George hero Bravemansgame.
His Flat horses and James Horton, his trainer, have remained in limbo since news of the probe was made public.
Horton, who is based in Middleham, Yorkshire, has not had any runners in that time, and just 12 in total on the turf and all-weather this year.
But the latest development means Dance’s Flat runners can now compete for Horton under a different name.
A BHA statement read: “While the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) investigation into Mr Dance continues, it has agreed to sufficient ongoing funds being released to cover the costs of Mr Dance’s racing operations, in accordance with the terms of the High Court’s Freezing Order.
“This is with a view to supporting the welfare of the horses and the livelihoods of the staff impacted by the investigation.
“The BHA is therefore permitting runners through Mr Dance’s business, in the name of Coverdale Stud and Titanium Racing club.
“Mr or Mrs Dance will not be permitted to have personal runners in their own names.
“Any prize money or other business profits will be frozen under the terms of the High Court’s Order and the BHA remains in continued dialogue with the FCA to supervise this arrangement.
“The BHA continues to work with the FCA to ensure the terms of the High Court’s Order are complied with, whilst prioritising the wellbeing of the horses and people affected.”
Dance is believed to have around 45 horses in training with Horton.
The news is welcome relief for him and his yard, who were set to move into a private training facility Dance was building.
Dance’s best horse on the Flat was six-time Group 1 winner Laurens.
She won £1.8million under trainer Karl Burke.
