Leeds fans can cheer on Bielsa to victory at Ayr on Monday with sprinter tipped to win for Kevin Ryan

LEEDS fans can cheer a winner off the pitch on Monday afternoon.

Sprinter Bielsa is named after their legendary boss and should take all the beating up at Ayr.

Kevin Ryan’s sprinter is named after the Argentinian manager Bielsa

They face rivals Manchester United at Elland Road on Sunday. But whether they land the three points or not, Bielsa should bounce back to winning ways.

He runs in the William Hill Extra Places Every Day Handicap (2.10).

The classy speedster runs for in-form trainer Kevin Ryan and this is the weakest heat he’s found himself in since 2019.

The handicapper has given him a hand by dropping him 5lbs of late and although he’s not had a run in close to 200 days, he has won fresh in the past.

His rivals don’t look much of a threat on paper and five of Ryan’s last 11 runners have hit the back of the net.

Only five efforts a go this horse was sent off favourite for the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot.

These are much, much shallower waters and he should simply outclass his rivals.

At a glance the rattling quick ground might prove an issue, but he’s won on good and good to firm in the past.

He ticks plenty of boxes in here and should have Leeds fans marching on together.
