ONE lucky punter managed to turn £1 into just over £8,000 with a sensational day at Lingfield on Saturday.
He managed to call the whole card at the Surrey meeting and turned a 50p each way bet into £8194.29 with Betway.
It started with a bold 6/1 winner with Mr Mac and then followed with big favourites Dubai Warrior and Good Effort in the last two races.
Four favourites came in for the day with Anisoptera and The Nosey Parker also coming home.
But there was also joy for 7/2 Emerald Fox, 3/1 Astro King and 2/1 Parachute.
