RACING star Megan Nicholls brushed off talk of marriage to boyfriend and fellow jockey Kevin Stott in an hilarious Sky Sports Racing interview.
Stunning Megan, the daughter of 11-time champion trainer Paul, is making her own name in the sport.
She pipped her fella into first when riding 14-1 shot Kryptos into first at Wolverhampton in November.
And the couple have egged each other in much the same way superstars Hollie Doyle and Tom Marquand have done.
Megan and Kevin will have to go some way to match the achievements of racing’s ultimate power couple.
But the loved-up pair, who got together after training together in Dubai sunshine last winter, are making a damn good go of it.
Even if Megan, who lives with Kevin, is reluctant to talk about their future plans… for now.
Megan was quizzed by SunSport columnist and TV presenter Matt Chapman if a jockey wedding was on the cards in the future.
Raising a smile and laughing, Megan, refused to be drawn and hurried off to the weighing room.
Asked by Chapman if her golden touch had helped Kevin ride his first Group 1 winner, Megan laughed and said: “I will take that!
“He’s had an amazing year and we’re looking forward to the summer.”
Many couples might not be able to say the same but it appears Megan and Kevin’s relationship has got even stronger during lockdown – even if Kevin has had to put up with watching reality TV.
Megan previously told the Daily Mail: “Kevin copes very well with my minor meltdowns, which happen nearly every week!
“He also lets me watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so is clearly very patient.
“Both dad and Kevin Ryan [another trainer] said that if we can survive lockdown together then we can get through anything.”
Megan even had a tip for punters on which horse to keep an eye on in future.
And it’s one she won on at Huntingdon just before Christmas at odds of 7-2.
Megan, who was full of praise for Bryony Frost’s King George win on Frodon, added: “I have been lucky enough to ride some bumper horses the last few weeks.
“Rainyday Woman, she’s a massively improved horse. There are so many lovely young horses and they’re proving themselves.”
