Godolphin's Military Order is back in action after a break of 91 days
After a tough season for Godolphin, with several retirements, Military Order could still have a big say in some huge prizes for Sheikh Mohammed’s operation. The horse returns to action today in the Listed Caa Stellar Chester Stakes.
If Military Order is a proper tool he should romp home
This won't be an easy task for Military Order, but if the horse proves to be as promising as expected, he should have no trouble stepping up to the distance of an extended mile and six furlongs. A few quid on the final British Classic, the Betfred St Leger at Doncaster on September 16, might be a good idea.
Military Order has shown huge promise in his short career
Despite having only raced five times, Military Order has shown great potential. His maiden victory as a juvenile in Newmarket was impressive, and the horse has continued to perform well. He flopped in the Derby, but with a nice break and a chance to regroup, he could excel in future races.
Charlie Appleby throws another potential star at us this weekend
Aablan, son of Godolphin's super stallion Dubawi, is one to watch. After a strong debut at Newmarket, where he won by half a length, Aablan heads to Sandown this afternoon for the Group 3 Virgin Bet Solario Stakes.
Hurdles or Flat: What's next for star Constitution Hill?
As the Flat season starts to wind down, attention turns to jumping. Star Constitution Hill's future is yet to be determined, but most anticipate him staying over hurdles. However, there's still plenty of action left in the Flat season, including the Irish Champion Stakes, the Haydock Sprint, and the Breeders' Cup in November.
