THE Cheltenham Festival is still over four months away but there’s plenty of top-class racing action to enjoy until then.
Cheltenham’s Paddy Power Gold Cup is of several big pre-Christmas betting heats.
The Paddy Power Gold Cup (November 13) is the first of these big races, with Dan Skelton’s Protektorat heading the market at around 6/1.
Charlie Hall winner Fusil Raffles and Lalor are next-best in the market, followed by Al Dancer Caribean Boy and Alnadam.
Last year’s race was won by the Evan Williams-trained Coole Cody, with Tom O’Brien aboard.
Here, SunSport looks at the current market for next week’s marquee handicap chase at Cheltenham.
