PAUL NICHOLLS’ jockey daughter Megan pipped boyfriend Kevin Stott into first as she won her 95th race.
Megan, who has just under 20,000 Instagram followers, was victorious on 14-1 shot Kryptos at Wolverhampton on Monday evening.
Trailing just under a length behind was Kevin on 25-1 chance Furzig.
Love blossomed for the pair when they were both riding in the sunshine of Dubai over the winter.
And they have stayed strong during lockdown – even if Kevin has had to put up with watching reality TV.
Megan, whose legendary father Paul has been National Hunt champion trainer 11 times, told the Daily Mail: “Kevin copes very well with my minor meltdowns, which happen nearly every week!
“He also lets me watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so is clearly very patient.
“Both dad and Kevin Ryan [another trainer] said that if we can survive lockdown together then we can get through anything.”
That includes competing on the track, where Megan – who rode 20-1 shot Tyson Fury to victory last July – has been on a red-hot streak lately.
She had won four of her last eight rides at the time of writing.

And, after reaching the magic 95-win mark, can now go for her professional licence.
Already her career earnings are up to a whopping £650,000 and she can expect to bang in a load more as her career really takes off.
Speaking after her 95th winner, a beaming Nicholls told Sky Sports: “This was my goal for the year, so I’m absolutely delighted my claim is gone.
“It’s been a strange stop-start year, but I’ve been lucky enough to get on a bit of a roll in the last couple of weeks.
“John [Berry, another trainer] has been really good to me over the years, so I’m happy I’ve done it riding for him.”
Dad Paul basked in his daughter’s success – and even took a self-depractory swipe at himself in a funny Twitter exchange.
Megan tweeted her delight at hitting the 95 mark and one fan replied: “Fine achievement Megan. The way things are going you will soon be overtaking your dad’s tally of winners in the saddle!”
To which Paul hit back: “That won’t be hard!”
