, Punter turns 72p into £2,650 thanks to ‘muggy acca’ that somehow found six straight winners at Kempton

A RACING punter was celebrating his ‘muggy acca’ that magically turned 72p into £2,650.

The bettor somehow managed to find six straight winners from the racing at Kempton on Wednesday night.

The punter somehow found six straight winners at Kempton, netting a nice profit from a tiny stake

And his tasty windfall was only £300 less than what connections of Prince Abu – the winner of the race that sealed the payout – got for victory!

The punter posted their incredible winning slip online, describing it as a ‘muggy acca’.

The initial returns for the near 2000-1 bet were listed at £1,425.25.

But his bet with William Hill had best odds guaranteed, so with a few drifters he said he pocketed more than £1,000 more and a grand total of £2,650.

The bet started with Magical Dias in the 6.00.

The punter backed the Richard Hannon-trained runner at 5-4 but the filly drifted to 15-8 before obliging under Sean Levey.

How Hard Can It Be, an aptly-named runner if ever there was one, was the second leg, winning at 13-8 over 1m3f.

Almufeed came next under Grace McEntee at 7-4 while unlikely 9-1 winner Epsom Faithfull prevailed by a short head from the fast-finishing George Morland to keep the dream alive.

Red Showgirl was next at 4-1, which meant the whole thing depended on Prince Abu in the last, a Class 6 2m handicap for horses rated 0-65.

More than three nervy minutes passed before Cam Hardie asked for the 15-8 favourite to go.

But he did just that when asked and ended up winning by a comfortable five lengths to land the punt.

Fellow bettors were quick to praise his heroics, with one saying: “No way.”

Attention for a lot of racing players will turn towards March’s Cheltenham Festival now.

Sun Racing told you how one bettor faces a nervy wait to see his final leg of a four-fold can turn a fiver into £9,000.

They need 11-4 fav American Mike to win the Champion Bumper to land the payout.
