PUNTERS are piling on three horses named after Liverpool stars to do the business today.
Klopp, Van Dijk and Mosala all run this afternoon in three races from 4.10pm.
The horse named after the Anfield manager is first up when he runs at Newcastle in a spring over five furlongs.
Klopp was a fortunate winner at the track last month when a race went off without.
The shambolic scenes meant SEVEN horses were withdrawn, while others returned to go again having already run half a race!
Klopp, who was behind the stalls while the others pelted down the track, won comfortably when the race was finally run.
The horse is being ridden by talented young jockey Laura Pearson and was joint favourite at the time of writing.
Then it is over to Southwell where Van Dijk runs in the 4.30.
The Antony Brittain-trained horse is big favourite to take the 1m race, with odds of around 11-5.
He won his first race at the 21st attempt over the same course and distance last week, and jockey Harry Russell returns to the saddle.
Mosala – of course named after Mo Salah – is the last of three, when he takes his place in the 5.15 at Dundalk.
The four-year-old is trained by Henry de Bromhead, one of Ireland’s top trainers, and goes into the race when beaten by just a head last time out.
The 1m 2f race should suit and the favourite to take the spoils was an even money shot at the time of writing.
Punters who spotted the names thought the chance of all three winning was worth a go.
One fan posted a photo online showing they had put £20 on the treble at odds of around 40-1.
Klopp and Van Dijk were both 10-3 shots on the bet slip while Mosala short-priced at 5-4.
