THE fillies get their chance to shine on the Rowley Mile this Sunday in the QIPCO 1000 Guineas.

When is this year’s 1000 Guineas?

The QIPCO 1000 Guineas will be run on Sunday, 7th June.

The race is scheduled for 3.35pm (15.35pm).

What is the 1000 Guineas and who can run in the race?

The 1000 Guineas is a Group 1 Flat race run at Newmarket racecourse. It is open to three-year-old fillies only.

It is one of Britain’s five ‘Classic’ races, and is the first leg of the fillies Triple Crown, followed by the Oaks and St Leger.

The race is run over a mile.
